IMIS
The programme focuses on the practical issues involved in the application of and management of information and communication technologies.
You will study the following modules
Tuition
Teaching is comprised of a combination of lectures, tutorials, case study analysis and individual project work.
Internal Assessment
Your progress on the course will be assessed by a combination of course work including essays, reports, class tests, project work and examination.
Admission Requirements
Foundation Diploma
Applicants must normally be 18 years of age and hold the minimum entry requirement of
- GCE ‘O’ Levels including English and Mathematics, RSA II, LCC II, NVTI
- Senior Secondary School Certificates (SSSC) in at least 4 subjects including English and Mathematics.
Diploma
- Ghana Commercial Examinations, GCE ‘O’ Levels, SSSCE, RSA II, LCC II with 2 years working experience or ‘A’ Levels passes, DBS Diploma from recognized institution.
- Holders of higher qualifications may gain exemption from some of the examinations.
Higher Diploma
- BTEC National Certificate/Diploma in Computing
- BTEC National Certificate/Diploma in a related subject with a significant computing element.
- GCSE (or equivalent) with passes in 5 subjects including Mathematics & English.
- ‘A’ Level in a computing subject and one other ‘A’ Level.
